XPrize Connect - thank you UNSW Sydney

The UNSW|XPrize Connect Program awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of 287 students from 11 Sydney high schools who participated in the intensive eight-week program. The ceremony was a fitting conclusion to an initiative that challenged students to address pressing global issues in biodiversity, environmental conservation, waste management, health, and education. As part of the competition, students worked through a series of self-paced, modularised content offering learning experiences to develop a deep understanding of the issues and teach techniques for developing solutions. The teams submitted video pitches to showcase their creativity and innovative solutions to these challenging issues.

Our Year 10 team—Yousef, Maya, Michael, Alissa, Tina, Tyrese, Shahed, and Dinh—chose to focus their pitch on the growing e-waste issue.
