The Pasifika project aims to encourage and support students of Pasifika background to aspire towards higher education and training whilst embracing their culture and communities.
We work closely with Pasifika role models in the fields of education, entertainment, business, sport, trade industries and various professions to inspire and motivate students to set and work towards future goals.
The University of Western Sydney Bankstown Campus initiated the Pasifika Achievement Towards Higher Education (PATHE) program in 2012, providing campus experiences and possible pathways into university.
The Pasifika Project has allowed our Pasifika students to be part of this program and we continue to develop this aspect of the project as well as new opportunities. Our school enjoys close connections with Dr Jioji Ravulo and Jay Laga'aia whose support of our Pasifika students and participation in school initiatives is enthusiastically received by our whole school community.
