Students in drama are encouraged to develop their performance skills and interests through a variety of opportunities and experiences.
We have close links with Bankstown Youth Development Service, Casula Powerhouse Theatre and various other performance groups where workshops and performance involve our students including:
- performances at school and for the wider community
- access to youth theatres, workshops and performance courses in the local area
- peer teaching/workshops
- State Drama Camp (Year 11)
- State Drama Ensembles (Junior and Senior)
- State Drama Festival
- performance projects with Bankstown Youth Development Services
- theatre excursions (at school and at professional theatre companies)
- performance - acting, dance, film making, competitions
- workshops with industry professionals
- auditions for stage and screen roles
- performance opportunities in stage and screen productions.
We are fortunate to enjoy close relationships with industry professionals including Andrew O'Keefe, Stefo Nantsou, Jay Laga'aia and Vico Thai who mentor and support our drama students.
