The Peer Support program is an 8-12 week program where Year 7 students connect with each other, Year 10 leaders and their new high school setting.
The program aims to teach students a range of skills to deal positively and proactively with life experiences and develop a sense of self worth and belonging.
Year 10 students act as role models, mentors and leaders, guiding Year 7 students through a variety of activities. Peer support provides both Year 7 and Year 10 students with communication, leadership, organisational and resilience skills. Such skills equip students with the tools to thrive and succeed within our school environment and the wider community.
