The Mateship, Masculinity and Mentoring (MMM) program is designed to support Year 9 boys at school by providing positive male role models.
Triple M differs from traditional educational programs due to the delivery of practical social engagement skill development activities. The program is designed to engage boys in Year 9 in a range of hands-on tasks both on site and at other locations.
The aim of the program is to target adolescent males who would benefit from the opportunities offered and provide them with a positive intervention that will have an effect on their engagement as students and young men.
Boys participating in Triple M have benefitted enormously both in the classroom and in their personal life. Participants graduating from the program have developed life skills that have assisted in gaining employment and enjoying enhanced relationships with others. Many have gone on to take leadership positions in later years.
