Mikhail Khallon and Esaena Tanaki are our Community Liason Officers (CLOs).
Their role includes:
- promotion of effective partnerships and networks among school, staff, students, caregivers and the wider community
- improving and maintaining regular, meaningful, two way communication between the school and its community on educational issues
- encouraging and supporting the participation of parents in decision making processes about their children's learning, especially in literacy and numeracy
- aiding in the establishment and implementation of parent programs which help parents to support their children's development
- working with district support teams, community officers and community agencies that contribute to and support students' learning, participation and engagement in schooling.
