In CC, our students complete projects that connect the learning outcomes of English, Maths, Science, HSIE, PDHPE & TAS. Each project is developed collaboratively with Head Teachers and the Curious Creators teachers to ensure the continuum of learning is synchronous with the students’ Masterclasses. Student feedback through student focus groups is collected to inform evaluation of the projects.
The process involves:
Meeting as a team to plan out a scope and sequence of 2 years worth of projects
Mapping the learning outcomes for every project across the 2 years
Developing exciting formative assessment opportunities for our students to demonstrate understanding
Building the understanding of the team in delivering engaging lessons that focus on the skills of the 4Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking).
