Meet Dinaaz Lentin - the epitome of resilience. Dinaaz is a strong, inspirational author and former student from Joey Banks!
Following 30-years and a long list of accolades in her marketing career, Dinaaz went on to found two different companies amid a slew of health obstacles. Not one to shy away from challenges, Dinaaz not only overcame her medical complications but turned them into opportunities. She shared her journey of inner strength, resilience and determination in her memoir, Battle Scars which has inspired many from all walks of life and given a voice to the voiceless across five continents. Now as a keynote speaker she empowers many businesses and individuals to adapt, improve and grow.
Dinaaz shared her thoughts on a recent visit back to Joey Banks:
“44 years ago, I left Sir Joseph Banks with wonderful memories. So very nostalgic to be driving down the driveway and heading to the Principal’s office, once again. Yes, I was sent there on a few occasions!!! So surreal to walk down the corridors and see so many wonderful changes, yet at the same time other parts of the school have stayed the same. Mr Kitteringham introduced me to staff and students as a member of the Class of 1977. Nothing brings you down from a high than a student who says, “1977!!! That’s the year my mum was born.” I look forward to reconnecting with my school roots and inspiring students to turn their hopes and dreams into success.”
