GEMMS - Girls Empowerment, Motivation and Mentoring Sisterhood - was named and established by our Year 9 girls in 2018. It is a 2 year leadership program that focuses on empowering teenage girls with information and strategies ot help tackle the unique challenges faced by their generation.
The program has been specifically tailored to suit high school girls who need extra guidance or support in hopes of redirecting their goals and enabling them to be leaders.
Through the collaboration of internal and external facilitators, our GEMMS group challenge their own perceptions of what they are capable of. They learn to reach outside their comfort zone and recognise their full potential.
