Curious nutrition analysts

Our Year 7 Curious Creators have been busy learning about body systems and healthy eating for their second big project of the year! From vitamins to dietary requirements, students have also been taught how to read nutrition labels – but not as we know it!

What better way to understand these labels than to become nutrition analysts! With a new page created in their digital books, students tapped into their five senses to analyse a range of food products marketed as ‘healthy’. Decoding food packaging and nutrition labels could be daunting but through this practical lesson, students were able to discuss, examine and make educational decisions about each product.
