The RAW program

RAW program

 

The RAW (Ready Arrive Work) program is a new initiative at SJBHS, delivered in partnership with JobQuest. Refugees and new arrivals to our Australian school system are introduced to the world of work. Students learn how to write a cover letter and resume. They also have an opportunity to practise interview skills and build upon personal attributes. Students who have participated in the RAW program were not only engaged, they had a lot of fun in learning about the work force.

This program will be followed up by an industry visit excursion and a civics excursion to Parliament House in the city.
