Best practice (a method or technique that is generally accepted as superior to any alternatives because it produces results that are superior to those achieved by other means) is important in education as we seek to deliver the very best that we can for our students. One of the ways that best practice information is shared is through podcasts by Department of Education Secretary, Mark Scott.
This week, Sir Joseph Banks High School is featured on the DoE’s homepage with the latest episode of the Every Student Podcast. In the podcast, Mark Scott talks to our principal about how our focus on primary partnerships has revitalised our school. In the podcast, Murray Kitteringham talks about how we work with our local primary schools to support students as they transition to high school and the many ways we support our Year 7 students. This has had far reaching benefits for all parties in our Community of Schools.
It is a credit to the dedicated staff and leadership team of Sir Joseph Banks High School that the work we are doing is recognised in this way by the DoE.
