SJB's STEAM experts present at the EduTECH conference!

Mrs Tran is well loved at Sir Joseph Banks High School. Her huge passion for teaching and ‘can do’ attitude have won her fans all over the school. As a STEAM expert, Mrs Tran provides endless learning opportunities for our students, staff and Community of Schools. She was recently featured in a short film by Science & Technology Australia and today presented at the EduTECH International Congress & Expo at the Darling Harbour Convention Centre.

Mrs Tran’s presentation was an introduction to the world of BBC Microbit, a core component of the STEMShare community project rolling out in Public School across NSW.

Mrs Tran was ably supported by her Year 10 STEAMpunk girls who demonstrated the use of technology and shared their learning experiences with attendees.

The invitation to present by the Department of Education is an honour and recognition of the pioneering work our teacher librarian is doing in this field. Mrs Tran is a great asset to our school.
