Full STEAM Ahead video conference

Year 7 Enrichment Class students were excited to be part of a Full STEAM Ahead national video conference this week.

The conference provided a high quality, inspiring and experiential introduction to important technology concepts and opportunities to learn new skills.  

MAAS (Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences) educators and high-profile industry experts took students into the future of STEAM careers and explained how innovative technologies are changing how we work.

Students had the chance to connect with and ask questions of data analysts, game designers, cyber security experts, engineers, scientists and more.

The conference also included demonstrations of cutting edge technologies such as  Al tools and augmented and virtual reality.

This opportunity was provided by ABCN. We are fortunate to enjoy a close working relationship with ABCN and grateful for the many opportunities they provide to enrich our students' learning.
