Our Senior Learning Centre is specially designed to assist and support students preparing for their HSC. Every student is supported individually through timetabled mentoring during their HSC year.
We develop individual transition plans to help every student focus on career goals and aspirations from Year 10. University and TAFE courses, apprenticeships and traineeships are identified and a plan established to ensure that every student leaves school with one foot into their future.
Providing students with the information they need to make correct choices is an important part of the process. During year meetings each cycle, Year 12 students gain insight into post school opportunities through a variety of institutions that have been invited to speak here. These institutions include universities, TAFE and training colleges to cater for the pathways of both our ATAR and non ATAR students.
Yesterday, The University of Sydney presented to our ATAR students while non ATAR students attended a presentation by the Australian Careers Business College.
Students benefit from our close partnerships with Sydney University, Western Sydney University and UTS with direct relationships and links through mentoring, leadership and vocational opportunities.
