NAPLAN parent workshop

Our NAPLAN information session was well attended today with over 60 families from our Community of Schools and even further afield, coming to the Learning Hub for a presentation by Jenny Long and Amyra Hasan, our literacy and numeracy instructional leaders.

After an introduction to NAPLAN, guests learnt about the changes that have taken place this year with NAPLAN now being run online. They were given information packages and shown how they can support their children at home.

Guests found the session very informative. They were particularly interested in the changes to NAPLAN this year.

Sir Joseph Banks High School runs a NAPLAN information session every year. It’s one of the ways that we support our parents to be involved in their children’s education.
