Tottenham Hotspur Football Club visits Joey Banks

As part of SJBHS' partnership with the University of Wollongong, our school was one of a select few to be invited to participate in the UOW Tottenham Hotspur Global Football Program.

In attendance was former England and Premier League legend Ledley King, who oversaw the coaching session and answered questions, posed for photos and signed shirts afterwards.

Thirty footballers from Years 9 to 12 were put through their paces by UEFA accredited, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club coaches. They were high intensity, technical sessions which the students thoroughly enjoyed.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our school to be involved and a unique experience for our students.

The program was part of a promotional campaign for the University of Wollongong's new football program, which will commence in 2020 and we wish to thank both them and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for this wonderful opportunity.
