Good morning.
After extensive consultation with our community and many refinements in response to feedback that has taken over 2 years, I am excited to announce that our Director, Jan Green, has officially approved Sir Joseph Banks High School’s new logo.
The feedback process was extensive with many great ideas voiced and incorporated into the final design. This year, the final design package was put to the students via focus groups, the parents via the P&C as well as through all of our social media channels, and the website through a survey. Our teachers also had their final say by way of a survey.
The final feedback and evaluation of the logo was overwhelmingly supported by our current school community and stakeholders. Previous principals, Mark Piddington and Brad Mitchell, also praised the process and the final product.
I have attached the final package for your perusal to remind you of how the logo evolved throughout the feedback process, as well as the final product.
Thank you for your participation in this process. I believe we have a logo that is respectful of the past whilst encapsulating who we are now and our vision for the future.
