Round 1 of the Premier's Debating Challenge kicked off to a great start, with our Year 11 team debating against Concord High School.
The topic for the debate was that "students should study gaming in English classes in the same way that they study novels and films." Our team was the negative team for this debate and argued against the proposed idea.
The debate was a great spectacle of clever wit and well thought out arguments in relation to the topic. Our Year 11 boys were able to come away with a solid win against their strong opposition in their first round of the competition.
Outstanding work by coach Mrs Papagianopoulos, and debaters Dean, Thomas, Abdullah and Ezra continuing their strong performances from last year.
