Victor Chang Institute’s School Science Awards 2018

The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute is a research organisation with both national and international reputation for excellence. It is committed to the promotion of Science in the broader community. To foster and encourage interest in Science and careers in Science which requires the highest levels of educational achievement, innovation, creativity and hard work, the institute has established a Science award to recognise the efforts and achievements of Australian school students. This year the award was presented to Kevin Nguyen and Ezra Okenyo.

On November 1, they were honoured to be the recipients of the prestigious Victor Chang Cardiac Research Award. Ezra and Kevin attended the award ceremony along with Mr Kitteringham and Mrs Chahine at Bankstown Library. The presentation was highly insightful, enlightening them on the story of Victor Chang, what it takes to become a researcher and striving to achieve their goals in life.
