Our Primary Partners schools all came together for an exciting day of teamwork, fun and Oztag!
Our Year 11 coaches mentored the teams throughout the day. The day began with our coaches guiding the teams through fundamental skills and drills stations set up around the oval. These focused on teaching the important skills of teamwork and communication as well as the basic skills needed to play Oztag. These activities also helped the teams warm up before playing their games against the other schools.
Game time was nothing short of outstanding! There were brilliant displays of teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day as well as exciting competitive play in each match. Our coaches were proud to see many of the primary students demonstrating the skills that they had learned in the instructional training before the games.
Padstow North emerged as the victorious school on the day, winning the Grand Final match with a solid performance.
Thank you to all of the teachers, students and parents involved in helping organise an event like this. Without everyone's support, amazing days like this could not happen. We look forward to seeing how the competition plays out next year.
