Thirteen of our girls have been working hard on creating a website app called "Ketch Up" which will allow students to "catch up" on any work they have missed, helping them stay on track with their studies. The coding girls have been working diligently on this project every Thursday since Week 2 of this term. The program is being run by Coder Factory and students have been working closely alongside their mentors, Nandini and Katherina, in learning and mastering digital coding software such as C9, HTML, CSS, and Ruby on Rails. The process of understanding the realm of coding has been a rather challenging venture, but the girls are making very good progress and are enjoying the opportunity to create their very own website app. Be sure to stay tuned on the developments as the coding girls plan to launch their app by Week 3 next term.
