SJB debaters reach regional final

Following the success of our Year 10 debating team last term, our Year 8 team have been successful in reaching the South Western Sydney regional final of the NSW Premier's Debating Challenge for Years 7 & 8.

The students have had a busy start to the term, debating in the regional quarter final last week and the regional semi final today. 

We congratulate Leyla, Mwamvita, Hope and Vivianna for their excellent performances. Saadi and Judy are also valued members of the extended team and their contribution to the earlier zone debates helped the team reach the finals stage.

The final will be taking place on 6 November and we wish the team the very best of luck.
