Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome to Sir Joseph Banks High School

As the new Acting Principal of Sir Joseph Banks High School, I will work alongside students, staff and families to continue building a strong culture of high expectations, achievement and success.

Our School Excellence Plan prioritises student growth and achievement. We maintain high expectations for all learners, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning culture where every student is empowered to excel. We emphasise personalised learning approaches that recognise the unique strengths and needs of each student.

We are committed to strengthening partnerships with families, community organisations and local networks. These collaborations are essential in creating meaningful opportunities and experiences for our students, supporting their aspirations and preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world.

In line with our school motto, I will lead with passion and determination to ensure our students thrive academically, socially and emotionally in a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
