International students

Sir Joseph Banks High School is pleased to host a number of international students each year. We provide a safe and caring environment where students are ensured of quality educational programs and presented with culturally rich and rewarding learning opportunities. These students are supported by our EAL/D teacher for students with an English as an Additional Language and/or Dialect, Ghada Majed.

How we support international students

The teaching staff are committed to the overall development and preparation of students to becoming global citizens as strong welfare support is given and students are encouraged to engage in high levels of academic learning. We are proud of our culturally inclusive and harmonious learning environment and our teaching staff who are always ready to assist, support and nurture where and when needed.
